4 essentials for change-Part 1
ByYesterday I talked about pain as a driver for us to change. Not enough pain really hinders us from committing to change. (I wish this wasn’t true, but it is).
Pain is one of four things we need if we are going to achieve our goals and commit to changes we want in our lives.
1. Pain
2. Hope.
Unless we have hope that change is possible we are defeated before we start. The reason we love success stories and rags to riches testimonies is that they create hope. If someone else could do it then maybe I can. Some of us may need to focus on creating hope for ourselves to change before we start beating ourselves up over not achieving our goals.
Regardless of whether you want to lose weight or be a billionaire find some people who have achieved what you want and read their books, watch them on Youtube, attend their conferences, whatever it takes for you to start to have hope that you CAN achieve what they did. Your goals become achievable when you add hope to pain.
