Deed of Novation
Posted by: | CommentsIf you assigning a contract you can also attempt to “novate” the contract. What this document does is effectively release you from any legal responsibility should the person you have assigned to fail to settle or perform as they should.
I am personally of the opinion that no educated vendor would want to sign a deed of novation, however in many situations it is achievable.
