Destiny and Control

It is true that we move away from pain and towards pleasure, however in the West we have managed to insulate ourselves pretty well from both.  The result is we tend to live fairly bland uneventful lives.

Not you of course, but some of the people you know .

So it is interesting to be in a culture where there is a lot more pain than New Zealand because you can literally see the people take control of their destiny rather than tolerate mediocrity.

Whether it’s the woman working 20 hours a day in her own shop to generate funds to put her kids through school or the fact that over a thousand people will attend a wealth creation opportunity to get the tools to create change I see a willingness to accept personal responsibility for their own life and a commitment to growth on the streets of Kuala Lumpur that I wish I could bottle and take back to Australia and New Zealand.
