I was watching a promo of “The Secret” Home study course yesterday and one of the teacher’s is a supposed reverend somebody. He was saying that you can have everything you want. He then went on to say that basically heaven was all around you and a raft of other new age drivel. This reinforces my earlier warnings about “The Secret”. It is in my opinion a dangerous philosophy that is totally at odds with truth and God’s kingdom.

So to take a leaf out of my lovely wife’s book:
You can have anything you want, but not everything you want.
You have to pick what you want and decide what you will go without to achieve it.

Are you ready for that?? If you spent 40 years stuffing your life up are you willing to go without your drugs/food/sex/movies: whatever it might be, so that you can achieve something that will benefit you for the rest of your life??

Hello again??

There is no “secret”, there is no free lunch. If you will decide what you want and choose to give up other things to achieve the greatest desire, YOU CAN HAVE IT.

The question is do you really, really, really want it??
